| Hello and welcome to St. John's Church web site, which is now it's 9th year. On it we would like to share with you the life and work of our church here at St. John the Evangelist, Yeadon. We are an Anglican church within the Diocese of Bradford. But churches come in all shapes and sizes, so I'd like to share something of our vision for St. John's and for life. We are a friendly, informal church made up of people from all backgrounds. What brings us together is out faith in God and his Son, Jesus Christ, and the experience that life makes so much more sense as we learn to go his way. |

| All Saints' Church, Gresford is one of the most beautiful churches in the whole of Wales. Perched above the vale of the Alyn; still on a pillar of coal; its tower with most notable peal of bells has dominated the skyline for centuries. Its architecture internally warmed with wood; lit by mediaeval stained glass it thrills but does not overawe. A living church with its daily round of prayer and praise - a meeting place between people and God, a place where folk can have an actual encounter with the Risen Christ. |
